It’s already been several years since it was confirmed that witches existed around the world. Magic has become part of everyday life, and it was common knowledge that only women can use magic.
However, this no longer held true when a single boy was found to possess magic abilities. This boy, Aoi, was invited to attend the Mikuni Academy for Witches. It was a peculiar school where the students were separated into two groups: the East Tower housed domestic students, while the international students occupied the West Tower. Each tower was governed by its own student council.
He was initially nervous being the only male student, but he quickly got along with the others. He was expecting a bright and enjoyable school life. Then, he and his classmates were forcefully enlisted as the new student council members for the east tower, and were thrust into a series of magic competitions between the two student councils. They must protect the honor of their tower, but there was one problem: he couldn’t use magic at all.

Though she is very hardworking in both school work and other chores, Iris is also extremely shy and has a hard time getting used to campus life. She does her best so she can be complimented more by her dear mother, whom she loves very much.

A first-year student and the accountant of the east tower's student council. A self-proclaimed gaming genius called "Arashi", she is the Japanese represetantive of the popular fighting game "Witch's Garden". Mei's magic skills and potential are pretty average, and she controls lightning magic.
A very honest girl who acts with her emotions first and thinks later. She is also part of the "gaming club" and has named the student council room "gaming club (temp)" to the point where she has already brought her television and one console in. Being a gamer, she loves snacks and is always shown eating umeboshi in the student council room.

Underneath her mysterious outlook, she has a very friendly personality and takes care of her peers. Despite all this, she prefers using brute force when she's faced with a problem.

A first-year student and the current student council secretary of the west tower. A foreign exchange student from USA, her power is to turn her magic into iron. However, her goal is to become a better martial artist instead of a magician.
She looks down on weaker opponents and is always looking for stronger ones, also likes to run away from her responsibilities, which annoys the other members of the student council. Melissa is always aiming for a higher position: for example, when she was not chosen to be the new president by Sharifa, she got really mad for getting to be in such a "low position". Gets most of her energy from hot and corn dogs.

Due to this, she works as a pro game designer in Okakae, the game company behind the game.
A gloomy girl who often pretends to be sleeping and likes spending her time in the dark. She also likes being alone, and is almost always shown doing nothing but playing on her portable device. She was appointed and recommended as the accounting manager by Sharifa herself.

An extremely popular girl who however, wears her school uniform in a very revealing way and is almost always talking dirty. She likes messing around with boys and dancing around as well. She has high expectations for Iris because of the crushing defeat which made her see Mao as her rival, and wants to have revenge on her.

The protagonist who is the only male possessing magic abilities in the world. Despite this fact, he is not able to control his magic well and can only use a very small portion of it. Has above average grades and excellent reflexes, and is an all-around person in housework. However, he has a tad dull and serious personality but at times is pretty calm. Aoi has a strong will and does no give up easily despite his low magic potential.
